Istrska belica is one of the most common varieties of olives in the area of Slovenian Istria and has a protected designation of origin, with the p.o.p. Of all of them, it is the Istrian belica that is the richest in natural antioxidants.
The oil is fruity, with hints of green grass, tomato and almond. In the mouth, we perceive a pleasant sweet taste, which is soon replaced by bitterness and spiciness. The color of the Istrian belica is bright green at the beginning, but then changes to yellow. Harvested exclusively in our own olive groves and processed in just a few hours in our own oil mill in Krkavče. The olive oil is filtered.
